यह शफ़क़ शाम हो रही है अब,
शब भी तेरे नाम हो रही है अब।
ठहर जाओ दो घडी मेरी खातिर,
इंतज़ार सर-ए-आम हो रही है अब।
अभी तो रौशन हुई है महफ़िल,
शाम रँग-ए-जाम हो रही है अब।
तेरे लबों से छलक कर बिखरा हूँ,
चाहतें मेरी पैग़ाम हो रही है अब।
एक रात बना कर भुला दो मुझे,
यहाँ सहर नीलाम हो रही है अब।
